Wenatchee Valley Farmers Markets
You'll find the summer's best bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables, just-picked flowers, fresh from the oven breads and pastries, jams, honey and exquisite, one of-a-kind arts and crafts by local artisans. Often you will find talented musicians adding to the fun and festivities entertaining the crowd with their lively tunes.
The Wenatchee Market was formed in 1978 as a Saturday market, since that time the market has been located in several different areas, finally settling in the Riverfront Park in 1986. It expanded to a Sunday and Wednesday market and soon added a market in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. Then it added the Thursday afternoon Methow Park market in south Wenatchee, taking on a new look and flair as a Latino-style "Mercado".
With plans in place to re-develop the waterfront in Riverfront Park the Market has been actively working with the City of Wenatchee and other groups to secure a new and more visible location The Market moves to 25 N. Worthen Street to its permanent home in 2009.

Community Farm Connection
Community Farm Connection is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting small farms and sustainable agriculture by bringing our communities directly in contact with the people who grow our food.
We create opportunities for local farmers, growers and food producers from all over North Central Washington to connect with people who want to buy and eat more locally grown produce and handmade food. Community Farm Connection offers both a CSA program and a retail store for purchasing local products and produce.
Community Supported
Agriculture (CSA) brings five
months of delicious, fresh
vegetables & fruits to your
table, all locally &
sustainably grown in
Central Washington.
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture programs
(CSAs) were originally developed to support a
local farm by paying for produce in advance
in the early spring when the farmer needs
the ‘seed money.’ Anyone who had paid in
advance would share in the harvest all season,
and also share the risk of bad weather,
oversupply, or crop failure with the farmer.
A cooperative CSA minimizes the risks by
gathering produce from several local farms,
which increases the variety, and assures
that there will be plenty of produce every
week throughout the season. This kind of
cooperative CSA program helps support
more than one local farm, and provides a
greater variety of fresh fruits and vegetables
for you, as well as other optional food items
such as goat’s milk and bread.
The Farmhouse Table CSA will provide you
with weekly boxes of high-quality, mostly
organic vegetables, fruits and handmade
food items from a number of small growers
and producers in Central Washington.
We are an energetic group of local food and
sustainable agriculture supporters...mostly
volunteers. We work with WSU’s Small
Farms Program, EAT Local, The Icicle Fund,
and are partially funded by Community
Farm Connection, a 501(c)(3) non-profit rganization
dedicated to bringing our communities
closer to the people who grow our food.
