People often compare the Wenatchee Valley to other small-town cultural and outdoor meccas – Boulder Colorado, Missoula Montana, Jackson Hole Wyoming, among others. And while the valley has plenty of native residents, you’ll meet transplants from all over the U.S. and abroad who visited the valley and fell in love with the place, the people and the easy small-town lifestyle.

Certainly, Wenatchee is a beautiful place to live, with the towering Cascade Mountains to the west, the vast arid plateaus to the east and the Columbia River running through the town. And with 300 days of sunshine a year and four distinct seasons, it’s the best of the Northwest - without the rain.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast, a vast playground with endless adventure opportunities is right in your own backyard. But if culture is your focus, the Valley’s symphony, performance theatres, museums, wineries and social clubs are just around the corner.

OK, so you know the Wenatchee Valley is a great place to have fun. But what about the realities of life? Education. Health services. Community statistics. You know, the key things to know when you are thinking about relocating. Just browse through this section to find out more about life in our Valley.
